Welcome to Veda Lifestyle, www.vedalifestyle.co.uk and its affiliates provide access to the www.vedalifestyle.co.uk website (the "website") and sell our courses and workshops to you subject to the conditions set out on this page.
Please read these conditions carefully before using the www.vedalifestyle.co.uk website. By using the www.vedalifestyle.co.uk website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions. In addition, when you use any current or future www.vedalifestyle.co.uk service, you will also be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to that service.
1 Use of the website
1.1 Access
You are provided with access to this Website in accordance with these Conditions and any bookings placed by you must be placed strictly in accordance with these Conditions.
1.2 Our rights
We reserve the right to:
modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or
change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.
2 Workshop Payments and Bookings
2.1 Bookings
All bookings are subject to acceptance as follows. Booking acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the receipt of the workshop/lecture booked by you unless we have notified you that we do not accept your booking or you have cancelled it by emailing us before we have processed the booking.
Non-acceptance of a booking may be a result of one of the following:
The workshop/lecture you booked is unavailable; or
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment; or
The identification of a pricing or product description error; or
Any other reason that prevents us from fulfilling the booking.
If there are any problems with your booking, we will contact you by email at the email address you provided to us when you placed the booking.
The booking contract is therefore completed in England.
We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.
We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your booking and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
2.2 Description of workshops
Each workshop purchased is sold subject to its Workshop Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, workshop contents and prices of Workshops appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including Workshop Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place a booking.
2.3 Payment
All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your booking is the price of the Workshop booked.
You confirm that the credit, debit or store card that is being used is yours.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for not keeping your booking.
We cannot confirm you’re booking until we have received a full payment for a workshop/lecture.
Please note that payment in full is required no later than 2 weeks before the starting date of your course/workshop.
2.4 Payment refunds policy
If your course is already fully booked or cancelled, we will refund your payment in full.
If you cancel your booking up to 2 weeks before the workshop date, we will refund your payment in full.
If you change your mind and decide to cancel your booking after you have paid the full fee within 2 weeks before the start of the course/workshop/programme, the fee you made payable to Veda Lifestyle is non-refundable. However, we will provide you with a credit note for the full amount made payable for the workshop that you booked and is transferable for you to book any other course/workshops available at a later date.
3 Privacy
3.1 Personal information
We only request personal information (such as your name, address, and e-mail address) if you choose to book one of our workshops/lectures. We do not request, collect or store personal information if you merely browse the Website. If you sign up for our mailing list or newsletters, we may contact you with information about the Website, upcoming events or promotions from time to time. Any other information you supply will only be used for the purposes of fulfilling your booking and for statistical analysis on the use of the Website. We will not sell or pass on your personal information to non-affiliated third parties.
3.2 Cookies
Our Website uses Cookies in order to store session information while you are browsing the Website and booking. We will not sell or pass on this information to non-affiliated third parties.
3.3 Encryption
In order to further protect customer information, certain forms on our Website are run on a secure server, utilizing encryption technology to safeguard credit card transactions from unauthorized viewing. We use industry-standard SSL encryption.
4 General
4.1 Intellectual property and right to use
You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the Website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us or our licensors.
You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within the Website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may (if necessary to make a booking) download such material and content onto only one computer hard drive for such a purpose. Any other use of the material and content of the Website is strictly prohibited. You agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.
4.2 Compliance with laws
The Website may be used only for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations regarding the Website and any transactions conducted on or through the Website.
4.3 Limitation of liability
While we will use reasonable endeavors to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the Website, we make no warranties, whether expressed or implied in relation to its accuracy.

We make no warranty that the Website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy and reliability of the Website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Website.
To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Workshops.
This does not affect your statutory rights as an applicant.
Nothing in the Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our servants, agents or employees.
4.4 Severance
If any part of the Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from the Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of the Conditions.
4.5 Waiver
No waiver by us shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.
4.6 Survival
Each provision of the Conditions shall be construed as separately applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable in any circumstances.
4.7 Law
The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
